We collect only the information needed to respond to you and operate the website.

• Contact details and enquiry information you submit: full name, company or brand name, work email, and your free-text message or goals.
• Basic technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. Your request IP address is read only for lightweight abuse prevention and rate-limiting, currently limited to five contact-form submissions per IP address in ten minutes. We do not use it for marketing or profiling.
• Your English or Hebrew language preference, stored locally in your browser under site-lang.

We use personal information to:

• respond to enquiries and evaluate potential business opportunities
• communicate with you about services you requested or expressed interest in
• send a transactional acknowledgement after you submit the contact form
• operate, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the website
• comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, users, and services

We share information only with service providers needed to operate the website, including hosting, managed transactional email delivery, security, and related infrastructure. Contact-form submissions are sent server-side to contact@theeastoffice.com through Lovable’s managed transactional email infrastructure using notify.theeastoffice.com, and the sender receives a transactional acknowledgement. These providers may process information on our behalf.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising or targeted advertising.

Because we operate from Shanghai and use service providers, information may be processed in China and in other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for international processing.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including maintaining appropriate business records, meeting legal obligations, resolving disputes, and protecting security. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it where reasonably practicable.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We do not currently use advertising cookies or marketing trackers. We use localStorage to remember your language preference, and technical services may use strictly necessary mechanisms to operate and protect the website. We may update this section if our practices change.
